Why is it a circus? Since I became a mom 27 years ago, the circus music started and hasn’t stopped–it just changes in volume! I am a retired teacher living her dream of indulging in all of the craft projects that I never had time for when I was working. I am married, my children are grown (almost–one still lives here and is finishing college), and I have five dogs because my husband won’t let me have six. I just became a granny in April of this year and I highly recommend it!
I want to share my knowledge, skill and love of crafts with others. My grandmother taught me to crochet as a girl and I taught myself to knit. I have made dozens of blankets for family, friends and co-workers. I have time to enter projects in the State Fair of Louisiana and I have won a few blue ribbons as well as red and white ones. It is exciting and fun, but I felt the need to utilize my teaching experience and thus, the site you are on was born. We are going to have a wonderful time at my circus, you may have to adjust the volume to suit your own taste, though!!
